GSM-GPS Based Vehicle Tracker

Description

Presented here is a GPS based vehicle tracking system based on the STM32 microcontroller using global positioning system (GPS) and global system for mobile communication (GSM).

This is a cheaper solution than a two-way GPS communication system wherein communication is done in both ways with GPS satellites. This project uses only one GPS device and two-way communication is achieved using a GSM modem. GSM modem with a SIM card used here implements the same communication technique as in a regular cellphone.

Features

  • You can locate your stolen vehicle easily using your mobile without any extra cost.
  • It can be used for trucks carrying valuable goods, to keep track of the status of delivery and location of the truck at all times.
  • The device ensures vehicle security and smooth fleet management.
  • You can easily install it in any vehicle such as cars, boats and motorbikes. An SMS will inform you whether the vehicle is stationary or on the move.

Key Finder BLE

Description

Each Bluetooth tracker has a unique signature that is only known to its owner once they connect the Bluetooth gadget to their user account on the accompanying mobile app.

This way, the tracker and the app can recognize each other, ensuring the tracker cannot be tracked by outsiders and its location is only known to the owner. The only exception to this rule is when the owner decides to share their tracker with another user within the app, giving them permission to track the finder from their account as well.

Because this connection is set up with Bluetooth Low Energy, both the device and the gadget use a truly negligible amount of power.

The tracker can last anywhere upwards of 6 months and your phone can last all day without you having to worry it will run out of power. The tracker itself has a few basic components that you can find in any model Bluetooth tracker.

iProbe

Description

Ambient data can be important and influential in different areas. When transporting or storing goods, it is necessary to keep an eye on how the ambient data evolves and thus to be able to respond quickly when major changes occur.

The data are just as important for good indoor air quality. Personal well-being also depends to no small degree on temperature and humidity. Data loggers for temperature and humidity are capable of measuring data at defined intervals. These are then stored in an integrated data memory or server.

This involves separate temperature data loggers and humidity data loggers, along with instruments which carry out both measurements.

Telit LE910 Development kit

RioSH developed a development kit to understand the Telit LE910 capabilities. LE910 module have onboard 4G, and GPS capabilities.

Product Description

The LE910 series of Cat. 1 modules are optimized for LTE low category networks and are available in single mode and 3G/2G fallback options. In addition to VoLTE support, the LE910Cat.1 series are swappable with other modules in the xE910 family.

Soil moisture sensor

Sushi - Soil moisture sensor

RioSH has developed a device called Sushi that helps people remember to water their plants by sending notifications to their mobile devices when the soil moisture level gets too low. This can be a useful tool for people who are busy with work or travel and may not always have the time to regularly check on their plants. It can help prevent plants from becoming excessively dry and potentially dying and can help ensure that they receive the water they need to thrive. This can be especially helpful for people who are new to gardening or who may not have a lot of experience caring for plants. It can also be a useful tool for people who are interested in personal gardening but may not have a lot of time to devote to it. Overall, it seems like Sushi is a useful device that can help people better care for their plants and keep them healthy.

Battery power consumption:

On-chip adaptive power management system used in the device to achieve exceptionally low energy consumption. This can be a useful feature for devices that need to be able to operate for long periods of time without requiring frequent battery replacements or recharging. By minimizing energy consumption, devices can save power and extend their battery life, which can be especially important for devices that are used frequently or that are critical to the functioning of other systems. The use of a sophisticated power management system can also help devices operate more efficiently and effectively, as it can allow them to adjust their power usage based on the specific needs of the task they are performing. Overall, it seems like the use of an adaptive power management system can be a key factor in helping devices achieve low energy consumption and long battery life.

Bluetooth to Wi-Fi Gateway

With the expansion of the Internet of Things (IoT), most businesses have been at risk of find integrating multiple devices and protocols. An IoT Gateway has become an indispensable component in structuring a healthy IoT. It also provides computational power in edge computing scenarios.

Nowadays, the majority of IoT gateway devices in a network are proficient in gathering collective data. For instance, the soil moisture sensors aggregate and sends data to the cloud.  However, all the raw data is first sent to the IoT gateway before it reaches the cloud. Here’s Sushi Gateway, we have the best IoT gateways that can easily connect on various projects.

Applications of Gateway

Some examples of IoT applications that use gateways include:

  1. Home security: IoT gateways can be used to connect security cameras, door and window sensors, and other devices to a home network, allowing homeowners to monitor and control their home security remotely.
  2. Smart farming: IoT gateways can be used to connect sensors and other devices on a farm, enabling farmers to monitor and optimize various aspects of their operation, such as soil moisture and temperature, crop growth, and animal health.
  3. Industrial security and safety: IoT gateways can be used to connect sensors and other devices in industrial settings to monitor conditions and ensure the safety of workers. For example, sensors could be used to detect hazardous gases or temperature extremes, and gateways could be used to alert workers and shut down equipment as needed.

These are just a few examples of the many ways in which IoT gateways can be used. As the IoT continues to grow and evolve, it is likely that we will see more and more innovative uses for these devices.
